We have prepared a collection of dyed Margilan Silk in Sparse (rarefied) weight. This is the 45" (115 cm) Gossamer Butterfly Silk. Again this dyed Margilan silk is 45" wide. Other sites may be offering 34" width. Follow the link to see more details about this fabric. The colors below are non-repeatable. Once a color is purchased it will not be available any longer.
Keep in mind that this weight of Margilan silk is too light-weight to be recommended for a base fabric in your nuno felting. However it is wonderful for trapping surface design elements that might otherwise not attach themselves to the base fibers.
